Administrative Support





The Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon has an immediate opening for an administrative support position in our Portland office. The Federal Public Defender Office provides quality representation to persons accused of a federal crime or seeking post-conviction relief in the federal courts.



This position requires familiarity with and/or ability to learn the basics of federal criminal law and works with confidential information and data. Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet applications and data entry, statistical and records management experience and sound judgment required. Duties may include voucher processing, bill paying, and case file processing. The person also provides support to other staff members, attorneys in private practice and interacts with the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
